Spring Will Be Here Soon
There are a lot of things about the coming spring season that can make people happy. After a few months of looking at dead grass and trees, it is a nice change of pace to see the leaves and flowers begin to grow and bring color back to the world of nature. The weather becomes less frigid for most people as milder temperatures come around. For anyone who isn't hot natured, this is a blessing. Sadly, for me, I am pretty sure I am half electric blanket so I can stand still in 80-degree weather and sweat. I know that sounds really appealing, but let me tell you, it's not.

For a many of us, spring is a time of renewal and so we take advantage of the extra daylight hours and mild weather to open our homes and do a deeper clean than usual. Spring cleaning comes from a time in the past where wood stoves and fireplaces were the only sources of home heating. Nonetheless, a lot of people still practice the tradition and allow their homes to breathe in some fresh air. We clean nooks and crannies that don't usually get much attention and we may even take the time to discard or find new homes for things we no longer use. That's one thing I usually try to do when I do my spring cleaning is rid myself of some junk that is cluttering up my home. Spring cleaning is also a time that I try to do a deeper clean on my furniture. This type of cleaning affords me a good look at whether my couch or mattress or anything else needs to be replaced.
