What Kind of Sofa do You Like?

One of my favorite ways to relax is to stretch across the living room sofa and read a book. Since my youngest is a cuddle bug, she is usually right there with me. I know it won't last forever, so I try to appreciate every moment of it. In our house, the living room furniture set has so many roles. Our couch is a place for naps, eating, playing games, doing crafts, and watching television. With all the things we do where we end up sitting on the living room furniture, I have learned that I better get the couch I like.

In my earlier years, anything would suffice when it came to what kind of furniture I had in my living room. Mainly, I didn't have a choice because when I first struck out on my own, the items in my house came from garage sales and hand-me-downs. I was just happy that I wasn't sitting on the floor or a folding chair while I was playing a video game. I will admit that I was absolutely unprepared for the real world and what you needed to furnish an apartment. It's funny how easy it is to take things for granted. That's why I like to think back on my younger days and reminisce about the days of yore.

My Style of Sofa

Today, however, I am blessed in the fact that I am in a situation where I can afford to get what I want for my living room. When it comes to what I prefer, I cloth upholstery and I keep it simple. I don't need a power recliner or cupholders and charging stations. Don't get me wrong, I think those additional features are extraordinary,  but I like to keep things simplified in my house. As such, I just have a standard sofa that can seat three people comfortably. So, what floats your boat when it comes to couch styles?
