Does Dad Need a Recliner?

Get Your Pops a Recliner for Father's Day

If your dad is like mine, he is clinging to his old recliner like he owes it his life or something. My dad has worn a full body indention of himself into that old ratty chair. This indention mark makes it difficult for anyone else to sit comfortably in the chair. He doesn't even have to invoke the "Don't sit in Dad's AKA Paw Paw's recliner" rule. Anyone who is cognizant to comfort doesn't even want to take a seat there anyway. This Father's day, I am going to brave the wrath of my dad and get him a new place to sit while he watches the big games this football season. Now, I know better than to get rid of his old chair, but I think if I get the new one and let him acclimate to it, he will be happier in the long run.

Finding the Right Recliner for Sale

The best thing I can do to make my dad appreciate what I will buy for him is to get a good deal on it. My dad isn't a showy man and he doesn't really have much use for what he considers extravagance. These ideas of his make it pretty easy to buy for him on special occasions like his birthday or Christmas. Small tools, Moon Pies, a $20 Amazon gift card and things of that vein will make him happy. I bought my mom a new TV for Mother's Day and he chastised me for spending too much. Of course, I told him what a good deal I got on it was and he was much more accepting. So it is that I must get a good deal on a recliner if I am going to pull this off. I have to for my Mom's sake... she has been complaining that the recliner smells.
